Launch of the Draft Industry Guidelines on Digital Learning

UNESCO MGIEP's "Industry Guidelines on Digital Learning: Discussion Draft", which I had the opportunity to co-author were launched by the Honorable Minister of Human Resource Development of India Mr. Ramesh Pokriyal at the 40th Session of the UNESCO General Conference. The guidelines offered in this document are a first draft to provide a holistic system of characteristics and parameters important for delivering active and engaging learning through digital solutions.
The event also saw the launch of UNESCO MGIEP's "Rethinking Pedagogy: Exploring the potential of Technology in Achieving Quality Education" by the Minister.
Training on GeoGebra
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, 2019, Noida, India
Facilitating a teacher workshop was both challenging and fun at this intense, two-day workshop on GeoGebra. 32 teachers from various schools under the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) from all over India participated in this workshop.
This workshop was organized by Dr. Jyoti Sharma, Associate Professor, University of Delhi and Mr. Gyanendra Kumar, Director, Navodaya Leadership Institute, Noida.
CoDesign Workshop Series
UNESCO MGIEP, 2019, New Delhi, India
UNESCO MGIEP with its Games for Learning and FramerSpace teams, organized a series of CoDesign workshops in New Delhi. CoDesign workshops were unique learning areas where students took the role of creators. The students were asked to play a story-rich video game and create an online-course around it. 140 school students joined us in this roller coaster journey over the course of 4 workshops.
